Letter from Gaza by Shaikh Bakr Ghawth – former Imam of Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa

Translation of Shaikh’ s letter

August 2009

In the name of Allah the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Association of Viva- Gaza, Palestine

Allah the Most high said: “and so do good deeds, Allah will see and reward you, the messenger of Allah will appreciate it and all other Muslims”

The rector and members of the Association of Viva – Gaza, May Allah preserve you; Peace and mercy of Allah be upon you all.

A Muslim to a Muslim is like a brick wall, every brick will help strengthen the next brick in a building. May Allah reward you highly for your intensive efforts regarding what you are contributing towards other Muslim brothers/sisters around the world and in particular in Gaza, which has been occupied and destroyed by Israelis and is destitute from everything including Water and Electricity.

It has been truthful to describe your help as Allah says “.. and whatever good you send forth for yourselves, you shall find it with Allah, yea, better and greater, in reward”

Shaikh Bakr Ghawth

Former Inspector for the Quds Mosques and former Imam of Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa
